2009 News Letter

We have had a great year and expect nothing less for 2009. Our trips will start in February. We have a schedule of trips for the year but keep in mind that we can always add something different as the year progresses. Hope all of you will have a wonderful new year full of happiness, good health and prosperity. One of my new years resolutions is to try to keep up with the web site and learn more so I can update it on a regular basis.

For those of you that have traveled with us in 2008 ..................Thank You......We hope to see you again in 2009.

We have not sold our house ....it is still on the market....and I have learned how to live with almost 80% of my stuff packed. The biggest challenge was Christmas cookies with my cookie cutters, cookie sheets, etc. packed.......it was not an easy thing to do.

George and I have had fun traveling this past 2 months.....we were in Brownsville for Thanksgiving week. It was nice to sit on the beach at South Padre and see the waves and sea gulls. We have been visiting family for the holidays. Jan 25th we fly to Puerto Vallarta (MEX) for 4 nights and get to stay at an all inclusive 5 star resort. We are looking forward to all our scheduled trips and hope to see you soon.

  We had a great time in Choctaw Casino & Resort in Grant, OK. It was about 45 minutes further than the one in Durant, OK. We were a total of 37 people (a few new ones). The casino is not as big as the one in Durant but boy the customer service was really great. They were there ready and willing to help. The rooms were very nice everything is so brand new it has only been open since June of '09. Some of their slot machines are new games and some even have multiple games within the same machine. Over all everyone had a good time and we will be going back. The perks are really great too, some of us got as much as $60.00 including the buffet tickets.
Be looking out for our next trip there.

The trip to Shreveport / Bossier City is coming along ....we had 20 from Banco (Johnnie & Anne's group) but some of them have had to cancel. We need at least 36 people. As of right now we are needing 18 more, for those of you that have signed, we will keep you updated as to what is happening If you want to go and have not signed up or if you know of someone that might want to go please give them our phone# or email address.......Date on this one is Feb 22nd-23rd-24th ( 2 Nights) Cost is $179.00 pp/dbl/occp or $224.00 single ...Shuttle is included in cost ...will take you to all 5 casinos.

The Copper Canyon Adventure looks like it will (Finally) make we have 22 people some from San Antonio & some from the Bulverde area. As of now we only have 8 seats open for this trip. If you are looking for an adventurous trip with sights that will be treasured for a life time , you need to join us in April 21st---27th (week long) Cost includes transportation (bus & train) hotel and 12 meals. Don't miss out it is very safe ....Jose . George and I have made a site inspection of it all and would love to take
you to see the splendor of the canyons..they are breathtaking. Cost is $669.00 pp/dbl/occp and $869.00 single....$100.00 deposit is required to hold your seat. Call if you have questions.....Passport is required to enter back into the USA.

Well the biggest news is that it seems like the treatment on my knees is going to work, I am 95%free
of pain "Praise God". SO that means a trip schedule is done for this year. I am sure we will add to it
but for the most part at least you will have an idea as to where will be going and you can pick and choose when you want to join us. On other news , our new home is coming along , we now have a garage attached and a huge deck in back should be done by mid Feb. BLESSING's TO ALL......G&G
